London, 3 November 2025 – Feonix – Mobility Rising has launched the Catch a Ride Network in the United States, supported by Ford Philanthropy and powered by SkedGo’s mobility technology. The initiative helps social agencies and clinics coordinate transport across buses, community shuttles, taxis and volunteer drivers, ensuring people can reach vital appointments and services.
With missed NHS appointments costing an estimated £1 billion a year in England alone, the model offers valuable insight for UK councils and health trusts seeking cost-effective, inclusive ways to connect residents with essential services, particularly in rural or underserved areas.
Technology built for small operators and big impact
What makes the Catch a Ride Network distinctive is its ability to include even the smallest transport providers. Many community and nonprofit operators have fleets of just one or two vehicles and limited digital capacity. SkedGo’s platform is designed specifically to bring these micro-providers online quickly and cost-effectively, without requiring technical expertise or expensive software.
