Java backend developer – Data – Full time – Argentina

Location: Our tech teams are based in Bahía Blanca, Argentina and in Sydney, Australia. This role can be anywhere in Argentina, but other locations may be considered for the right candidate

Responsibilities and duties

Help the data team to ingest the data from external repositories
Use our internal tools to keep the information up-to-date
Collaborate with the data maintenance process
Report issues and bugs during the data consuming process and work with the team to fix them
Work with other colleagues to improve our tools to verify and integrate new data
Participate in our tech meetings. Some meetings might be out of office hours

Requirements

Describe your JAVA expertise level. We may consider Jr and Semi-Sr candidates
Candidates should be willing to work with big amounts of XML and text data
Self-motivated and proactive (we really mean this! At SkedGo we all pull up our sleeves and enjoy getting things done)
Excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of other languages (not programming) is a plus
