Fernando works as the Data Team Leader for SkedGo and is responsible for the team dealing with the addition, update and maintenance of static and real-time data from different providers. He is also working as a backend developer, helping with server maintenance tasks and liaising with transport service provider integrations.
Fernando has been involved in many SkedGo projects so far, including: visualizing our backend data using web tools, incorporating real-time public transport data from standard and proprietary formats, incorporating parking data from different providers, real-time data in proprietary formats.
Since 2005, he is also working as Head Teaching Assistant in the “Operating Systems” course in the Computer Science Department of Universidad Nacional del Sur (UNS, Argentina). He worked with the Artificial Intelligence group and as a consultant and software developer for a financial company prior to working with SkedGo. Fernando’s education and qualiﬁcations include a Bachelor of Science degree from UNS, and he spent five years in pursuit of a PhD degree before exiting the program.
